Yapı Kredi Sermet Çifter Hall

Yapı Kredi Bank has always believed in investing in culture and the arts and has taken important steps with its endeavours in these areas to help our country reach a higher level of modernity.

Located on the first floor of the Yapı Kredi Cultural Center, this hall was named after Sermet Çifter, a general manager with modern leadership qualities, who has contributed substantially to our bank’s corporate development since its establishment.

The Sermet Çifter Hall hosts exhibitions that keep our social memory alive and raise great interest among art lovers. Works of artists such as Ara Güler, Robert Capa, the famous wartime photographer, and works by universally acclaimed photographers such as Sebastiao Salgado, the legendary documentary photographer, are all exhibited alongside the works of literary masters such as Sevim Burak, Abidin Dino, Sait Faik, Behçet Necatigil, İlhan Berk – under the title, ‘One Master, One World’.

The Sermet Çifter Hall also brings art lovers together through monthly events around a wide range of topics from theatre and cinema to plastic arts, graphic arts, music and literature, attracting a number of people from small groups to large crowds.
