Why should I use a OTP Mobile?

It is very easy to use. Since it is loaded on your mobile phone which is with you all the time, you can use it very easily whenever you wish without needing any other auxiliary device. It works with a PIN password; no one else but you can generate any passwords without having this PIN password.

The eight digit passwords it generates are one-time-passwords. It cannot be used a second time neither by you nor by others. OTP Mobile can be used with all Java supported mobile phones and iPhones without any GSM Operator difference.

How can I apply for the OTP Mobile?

You can make your OTP Mobile applications from Security Settings / One-Time-Password menu in our Internet Banking pages.

For Java based mobile phones

After your application, an SMS providing the web address that you should connect in order to load your OTP Mobile will be sent to your mobile phone. After connecting to this address with your mobile phone and completing the loading process, you have to activate your OTP Mobile from the OTP Mobile screen in the Security Settings / One-Time-Password menu.

For iPhone

You can download the application either via AppStore or via the link that will be sent to you by SMS message after your application. After completing the downloading process you have to activate your OTP Mobile from OTP Mobile Screen in the Security Settings / One-Time-Password menu.

How can I set-up the OTP Mobile?

After your application, an SMS providing the web address that you should connect in order to load your OTP Mobile will be sent to your mobile phone. For iPhones you can download the application via Appstore or via the link that will be sent by SMS after the application.

After connecting to the address that takes place in the SMS with your mobile phone you can complete your OTP Mobile setup in a couple of minutes by following the directions in the opening screens carefully.

OTP Mobile is password protected. In its initial set-up, you are requested to specify a 6 digits password (PIN). When you wish to enter the OTP Mobile system for the one-time-password, on each occasion you have to enter your 6 digit user password (PIN) first.

What is Smart Pin Defined Receivers List?

For the approving the transactions of money transfer, our security products OTP SMS, OTP Mobile and OTP Token can be used according to the preference.

The records at Smart PIN Defined Receivers List show the receivers who are approved by Smart PIN Password for a transaction of money transfer before.

At the approval screen of the transactions in this list, no Smart PIN password will be used.

The transactions those are included in Smart PIN Defined Receivers list;

There are four different transactions of four categories at Smart PIN Defined Receivers list:

  1. 1-Remittance
  2. 2-EFT
  3. 3-Worldcard Payment
  4. 4-Top up online.

An update at one category does not affect another category.

How is Smart PIN Defined Receivers List formed;

If you use OTP Mobile for transaction approval you can see the check box "Ask Smart PIN Password for every transaction for this receiver" at the approval screen. This check box is checked by default. If you make your transaction while this box is checked the receivers will not take place at your Smart PIN Defined Receivers list and for the transactions for these receivers Smart PIN password will be used for the later transactions.

If you uncheck the checkbox, the receiver for this transaction will be added to the Smart PIN Defined Receivers list. You will not be asked for Smart PIN while making that transaction again. If you want to be asked for Smart PIN password for a receiver from Smart PIN Defined Receivers list; You have to choose the receiver and click to the "Delete" box. You will be asked for a Smart PIN password for every transaction to this receiver.

What is the charge for OTP Mobile?
