The Bank considers human capital as one of the most valuable aspects of its operational sustainability. Yapı Kredi regularly improves its working model, employee training and development programs, and employee benefits in order to meet the expectations of its employees and to prepare them for the business world of the future. The human capital of Yapı Kredi represents the foundation of its institutional success. Yapı Kredi measures the needs and expectations of its workforce with regular employee engagement and satisfaction surveys. Yapı Kredi takes part in these surveys, which are conducted by Koç Holding every year. The outcomes of the survey are shared with the senior management and these include opinions regarding the organization’s perception, training, performance management, and rewards which are considered for action and added to scorecards.

The Bank invests in its flexible, innovative, and experienced human capital that takes up the baton and carries the deep-seated sectoral know-how of 76 years forward, responding to the evolving global conditions of the world and the sector, together with its competent employees.

Yapı Kredi works together with its employees to continue to create value, enabled by professional training programs, employee development programs, and working conditions allowing proper work-life balance. Yapı Kredi sets quantitative targets to support and increase the development of human capital and closely monitors the progress towards achieving these targets. The amount of training provided in order to support the capacity development of the employees is aimed to increase. In this context, the training hours per employee is aimed to increase to 35 hours in 2021. This target covers 100% of the employees and one training day corresponds to 7 hours. Accordingly, the annual total training target per employee has been determined as 5 days.

Yapı Kredi designs various training and development programs to support both the professional and personal development of its employees.
