Archive Exhibitions

Keeping social memory alive and therefore raising great interest among art lovers, these exhibitions continue with contemporary themes and artists as an important activity of the Library.

Aside from public reading services, the library also offers exhibitions where particular topics can be researched in the archives. In addition to thematic exhibitions such as "The 100th Year of Cinema", "Magazines from the First Years of the Republic", "Turkish Printing History: From Manuscripts to Printing", "Şakirtten Mektepliye Talebeden Öğrenciye", the ‘worlds’ of artists such as Behçet Necatigil, Oktay Rifat, Adalet Ağaoğlu, İlhan Berk, Salâh Birsel, Tezer Özlü, Abidin Dino, Sabahattin Ali and Cemal Reşit Rey are revealed through archive documents, their works, personal items and photographs in ‘One Master, One World’, a collective exhibition.
