Yapı Kredi has a strong shareholding structure which ensures sustainable and profitable growth. The Bank’s main shareholder is Koç Financial Services (KFS) with 81.8% ownership. KFS is a 50%-50% joint venture between Koç Group and UniCredit Group. The remaining 18.2% is publicly traded on Borsa Istanbul. In addition, the Global Depository Receipts that represent the Bank’s shares are quoted on the London Stock Exchange.

Yapı Kredi is a fully integrated financial services group supported by domestic and international subsidiaries. The Bank serves its customers through (i) retail banking (comprising of individual banking, Small and Medium Size Enterprises (SME) banking and card payment systems), (ii) corporate and commercial banking, and (iii) private banking and wealth management supported by domestic subsidiaries in asset management, brokerage, leasing and factoring as well as international banking operations in the Netherlands, Russia, Azerbaijan and Malta.

The Bank provides high quality products and services to its loyal and diversified active customer base of 12.9 million (total: 22.5 million) through a widespread service network. Yapı Kredi’s branch network consists of 936 branches covering all regions of Turkey supported by a young and dynamic employee base of 19,419 people. In addition, Yapı Kredi has advanced alternative delivery channels (ADCs) which handle 88% of total banking transactions. The Bank’s ADCs comprise of an ATM network with 4,327 ATMs, innovative internet banking, leading mobile banking, direct banking, three call centers and 554 thousand POS terminals.

Yapı Kredi maintains leading positions in value generating services and products. In credit cards, Yapı Kredi has been the market leader for the last 26 years and maintains leadership position in outstanding volume (22.1% market share), issuing volume (19.9% market share), acquiring volume (20.8% market share) and number of credit cards (17.8% market share). The Bank also has leading positions in leasing (#1 with 19.9% market share), factoring (#1 with 18.0% market share), mutual funds (#2 with 17.1% market share) and brokerage (#3 with 7.3% market share).
