On May 5-6, 2007, Yapı Kredi Private Banking hosted a golf tournament at the Istanbul Golf Club. The competition was played in the Stableford format with full handicap allowance and in five competitive categories: three for men and two for women.

The tournament’s Award Ceremony and Gala Dinner were held that Sunday evening at the Rahmi M. Koç Museum. In addition to the competitors, the Koç Holding Group Chairman and Istanbul Golf Club Captain, Mustafa V. Koç, and prominent names in business and sports attended the gala.

Last year Yapı Kredi Private Banking sponsored the International Stars Equitation Championship for the first time. After its success, the event was organized this year in Turkey by the Turkish Equitation Federation.

Yapı Kredi Private Banking continued to support equitation, a sport that fit the elite customers’ taste, and became a sponsor of the event for the second time in an effort to nurture young equestrians destined to achieve international success.

Yapı Kredi Private Banking was the main sponsor of the championship held between 11-15 July 2007 at the Kemer Golf & Country Club where more than 100 brilliant equestrians competed with young Turkish equestrians achieving significant results. Yapı Kredi Private Banking Assistant General Manager, Erhan Özçelik, presented the awards to the top three competitors in the Yapı Kredi Private Banking Grand Prix, run on the last day of the competition.
