Faik AÇIKALIN Chief Executive Officer
Faik Açıkalın has a Business Administration degree from Middle East Technical University. He started his banking career at Interbank and later worked in several banks until 1998. Then he joined Dışbank (later Fortis) and worked in several functions; branch manager, deputy CEO, CEO and board member. He moved to Doğan Gazetecilik as CEO, the largest newsprint media holding company in October 2007. He was appointed as Executive Director of Yapı Kredi on April 27, 2009. As of May 1, 2009, Mr. Açıkalın has been appointed as the CEO of Yapı Kredi Bank.

Alessandro Maria DECIO Executive Director and Deputy CEO (Chief Executive Officer)
Mr. Decio graduated with a degree in Economics from Commerciale L. Bocconi and holds an MBA from INSEAD (the European Institute for Business Administration). Starting his banking career with IMI International, Mr. Decio worked in Morgan Stanley International, McKinsey and later in the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). He joined UniCredit Group in June, 2000 as the Head of Strategy, Mergers, Purchasers, Planning and Control Group for Foreign Banks. Mr. Decio went on to serve as Chief Operating Officer for Zagrebacka Banka and Bulbank (within UniCredit Group), as well as UniCredit Group’s Integration Project Manager. Mr. Decio was appointed as UniCredit Group’s Germany Integration Project Manager at the beginning of 2006, before going on to serve as the Deputy Head of Integration Office from July 2006 to July 2007. Appointed as the Executive Director of Yapı Kredi on April 26, 2007, Mr. Decio also became the COO of the Bank on July 1, 2007. As of January 30, 2009, Mr. Decio has been appointed as the Deputy CEO of Yapı Kredi Bank.

Mehmet Güray ALPKAYA Corporate & Commercial Banking Sales Management
Mehmet Güray Alpkaya earned his MBA from Koç University and MS in Finance from Istanbul University. He started his banking career at Import and Export Bank of Turkey in 1989 where he served as Assistant Manager in the Istanbul Main Branch Corporate Credit and Marketing Department before moving to Istanbul branch of the Chase Manhattan Bank N.A. in 1991. He was Vice President and Head of Corporate Client Management Group at Chase Manhattan Bank N.A. before moving to Koçbank in 1999 to establish and develop the Project and Structured Finance function. In Koçbank, he served as Head of Project and Structured Finance Group until 2003 and then as Head of Credit Underwriting Division until he was appointed as Assistant General Manager responsible for Credit Management at Yapı Kredi in February 28, 2006. On August 1, 2008, Mr.Alpkaya was appointed as Chief Risk Officer and as of January 30, 2009, he has assumed the position as Assistant General Manager in charge of Corporate and Commercial Banking Sales Management.

Marco CRAVARIO Financial Planning and Administration /CFO (Chief Financial Officer)
Having graduated from the Faculty of Economics in University of Turin, Mr. Cravario participated at top-level financial education programs at London School of Economics and INSEAD (European Institute for Business Administration). Starting his career at Reconta Ernst & Young (Turin), Mr. Cravario held various positions in Ernst & Young (Prague) and Ernst & Young Corporate Finance (Milan). Mr. Cravario joined UniCredit Group in 2001 and headed the group’s New Europe Division M&A Unit, Planning Unit and Organization unit. After a period spent in the Retail Division to follow business development projects in the consumer credit card area, Mr. Cravario served as CFO and Executive Board Member at UniCredit’s Tiriac Bank in Romania. He assumed the position of Financial Planning and Administration/ CFO at Yapı Kredi Bank on January 7, 2008.

Yakup DOĞAN Alternative Distribution Channels
Mr. Doğan started his career at İş Bankasi as Asisstant Specialist in 1992 after graduating from Çukurova University Faculty of Business Administration. Then, he was responsible for development Retail Banking, Credit Cards and Alternative distribution Channels at Ottoman Bank from 1996 to 2001 as senior executive. Starting from 2001 he was with Koçbank for five years as Group Head in the Alternative Distribution Channels Department. Mr. Doğan was appointed as the Head of the Alternative Distribution Channel Department in February 2006. Murat ERMERT Corporate Communication
Having graduated from Marmara University Department of Business Administration, he began his career in 1987 at Leo Burnett Advertising Agency. Between the years of 1989 – 1993, he worked in Advertising and Public Relations Department of Yapı Kredi. He later assumed the Media Marketing Manager with Doğan Media Group. Mr. Ermert then started working for Demirbank in 1996 as Vice President of Advertising and PR until 2000. Working at Dışbank-Fortis as Assistant General Manager responsible for Corporate Communications, while at the same time serving in the Global Marketing and Communication Management (Brussels) of Fortis from 2000 to 2008, Mr. Ermert was also a faculty member at Anadolu University and Bahçeşehir University. Massimiliano FOSSATI Risk Management
After graduating from L. Bocconi University, Massimiliano Fossati also earned a post-graduate degree in Bank Management. Beginning his professional career as a Financial Analyst at the Credits Department of Centrabanca S.p.A. (Banca popolare di Bergamo Group) from 1995 to 1998, he became the Communication and Relations Manager between 1998 and 1999, later serving as a Senior Analyst at the same bank. Fossati worked as a Senior Analyst at the Credits Department of Locat S.p.A (Unicredito Italiano Group) between 2000 and 2001 and then as a Functional Analyst at the Organization Department of the same bank from 2001 to 2002. He began working at Unicredito Italiano S.p.A. in 2002. After his duty in the Foreign Banks Credit unit of the Credits Department, Fossati served as the Credit Management Director as well as ALCO Board and Executive Committee members at Živnostenská banka a.s. Prag, a Unicredito Italiano Group company, until 2005. He continued his duties at the same bank as a member of the Board of Directors responsible for Organization and IT Integration Process Project Manager from 2005 to 2006. Fossati was Global Banking Services Division Manager and Member of the Board of Directors responsible for Global Banking Services Department at Prag Unicredit Bank CZ (Unicredito Italiano Group) from 2007 until January 2008. Having graduated from the University of West Georgia with an MBA, Mr. Güvenen began his career at Yapı Kredi in 1990. Appointed as the Director of the Bank’s Esentepe Corporate Branch in 1999, Mr. Güvenen continued his career at Körfezbank as the Central Branch Manager. Mr. Güvenen then worked as Corporate Marketing Director in Koçbank and General Manager in Koç Factoring. Cihangir KAVUNCU Human Resources
Having earned his a post-graduate MBA degree from the University of Bridgeport, Mr. Kavuncu began his career at Arthur Andersen in 1983 as an Auditor. Working as the Foreign Funds Manager at the Treasury Division of Interbank between 1985 and 1989, Mr. Kavuncu, went on to serve as Financial Controller and later as the Human Resources Director at Coca-Cola bottling company before working at Çukurova Holding as an Administrative Affairs Coordinator and at Colgate Palmolive as a Human Resources Director. Cahit ERDOGAN Information Technologies
Having graduated from Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at İstanbul Technical University, Cahit Erdoğan earned his MBA degree from Rochester Institute of Technology. Erhan ÖZÇELİK Private Banking and Wealth Management
Having graduated from the University of Evansville, Indiana, Faculty of Business Administration in Marketing, Mr. Özçelik began his career at Yapı Kredi in 1988 as Account Officer; and served for ten years as a Foreign Representative from 1991. Mehmet Erkan ÖZDEMİR Compliance Office

Stefano PERAZZINI Internal Audit
Completing his graduate education at the Faculty of Economy at Torino University, Mr. Perazzini started his career at San Paolo IMI Bank’s branch in 1987. Selim Hakkı TEZEL Retail Credits
Beginning his professional career at the audit company Arthur Andersen between 1995 and 1999 as senior auditor, Selim H.
